Dr Rob Perry grew up in the southern suburbs of Perth, and studied Pharmacy prior to Medicine at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. Rob spent a year of medical school in Kalgoorlie, where he fell in love with the idea of being a procedural GP.
Following university and basic medical training, Rob proudly served as an Officer in the Australian Defence Force. His role involved leading medical teams both at home and at sea. Rob achieved his FRACGP before returning to the hospital setting to complete further training in obstetrics, including Caesarean section. He has been a GP Obstetrician in the Armadale-Kelmscott area ever since. Rob’s commitment to family medicine has seen him complete further training in vasectomy under a world-renowned surgeon, since becoming a leading provider of this service within the area.
Rob is interested in all aspects of general practice, with a particular focus on maternity, women’s and children’s health, vasectomy and Veteran’s health. He is proud to be part of the Origyn team, providing affordable, high level maternity services to families in the Armadale-Kelmscott region.
Outside work Rob enjoys cooking, music and building his collection of dad jokes!
